A few words about me and my Journey into Yoga

My journey into yoga started more than 20 years ago when I was in my early 30s. Back in those days, I had a successful professional career working for high-end software companies. Yoga was an integral part of my success as it made me more energized more focused and more creative.

In 2009, I had some intense physically traumatic experiences and I was not able to do my regular Ashtanga yoga practice. For more than a year I was not able to work or do any physical activities and I was experiencing a lot of physical pain in my lower back. Walking was the maximum I could do. This caused a lot of frustration, disappointment, anger and feeling low, and depressed.

A pivotal moment came when I realised that in order to create outer physical change I first have to change within.

I started a journey of self-discovery and self-healing. My curiosity and spiritual exploration led me to learn a few very important lessons; about how to connect with my spirit and how to use my breath to calm my mind.  Kundalini Yoga and Shamanic practices were key to those discoveries. After a series of profound and life-changing experiences, I wanted to deepen my knowledge on these self-healing spiritual practices.

I began my Kundalini Yoga and meditation training and soon after I discovered what are the true causes of health issues and how imbalances in the mind and body occur. Since then I immersed myself in the ancient teachings and have never stoped training, practicing and learning about yoga, kundalini yoga, and the spiritual practices of healing and well being.

Teachers and Journeys

My yogic path has involved extensive studies and many hours of practice with numerous renowned teachers and gurus from around the world, like Heather Elton, Stewart Gilchrist, Guru Dharam Singh Khalsa, Shiv Charan Singh, and Ram Singh. I remain in deep gratitude to all my teachers that I have come across. At the same time, I had an internal calling to retreat in some sacred places and healing temples around the world like the Buddhist monasteries high in the Himalayan mountains of Nepal, various sacred spots in India, Chiang Mai of Thailand, and Sri Lanka. My spiritual and shamanic exploration took me over to the other side of the Atlantic in South America where I spent a lot of time with shamans of the sacred valley in Peru, I stayed with indigenous communities and studied with wisdom keepers deep in the Amazon Jungle, and stayed at the sacred temples of the Sun and Moon in Lake Titicaca in Bolivia.

Sharing the Knowledge

It seemed natural and of significant importance to humbly share and transmit those sacred teachings that my teachers shared with me with so much love. Since 2014 I have been teaching yoga in Athens, Greece, one of the pioneers of the kundalini yoga in the city. I have run numerous yoga workshops, retreats, and many shamanic medicine healing circles. I have been an active member of the Greek yoga community, I have been invited to participate as a guest teacher in many festivals as well as helped in the set up of yoga festivals in Greece.
